Collaboration Opportunities

MSc Goksu Avdan

My research vision is to develop cost-efficient, portable, and user-friendly healthcare and manufacturing equipment technologies. The potential collaborations will lead to advance the fields of HFE, manufacturing, and healthcare systems in response to societal needs, particularly for the underserved and underrepresented populations. Given my extensive background in HFE, non-linear dynamics of biomedical signals, time-series analysis, DL applications, and computational biomechanics, I am open to collaborations across various disciplines.

Here are a few potential research topics:

  1. Wearable Diagnostics: Development of cost-effective and user-friendly wearable sensors tailored for healthcare diagnostics, specifically for individuals with neurological and neuromuscular disorders.
  2. Biomedical Signal Analysis: Nonlinear feature extraction and time-series analysis of data from EMG, EEG, ECG, VCG, and other biomedical signal sources.
  3. Surgical Ergonomics: Enhancing the ergonomics of operation rooms during robot-assisted surgeries, particularly robot-assisted minimally invasive procedures. This includes creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that cater to the ergonomic needs of medical professionals and their assistants.
  4. Extended Reality in Healthcare: Incorporating virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality technologies to revolutionize healthcare and medical education.
